I just recently created a death knight did a couple of black rock runs got to 60 and really not looking forward to leveling in the outlands again. So I was wondering at level 60 what should I have before I start tanking should I get gear upgrades first from the standard dk fair or would that be okay going into hellfire?
You should be alright with just the stuff you got from the starting area. As long as you're 60 and have DnD, which i found essential on almost every AoE pull.
Yeah I didn't want to try it without that scrabbling for agro in packs of npcs is not fun.
Stack stam and str, with the removal of Def cap you can tank normals in dps gear all the way to 80
